Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg's action-adventure film Uncharted will soon be released in Indian cinemas.
Sony Pictures will bring the film to India, which will be screened in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, it is an adaptation of popular video game of the same name. Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins have penned the screenplay.
Uncharted will act as a semi prequel to the game and will feature Nathan Drake (Holland), who is drawn into the world of relics and adventures with his mentor and partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Wahlberg).
Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle and Antonio Banderas are also part of the cast. Uncharted is produced by Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner and Ari Arad.
Holland's last on-screen appearance was in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is now among the highest-grossing films so far, especially among those released during this pandemic.
The Marvel Studios superhero title, directed by Jon Watts, also stars Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, among others.
