Tom Holland is in the limelight once again, following the release of Uncharted, co-starring Mark Wahlberg. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star has now revealed that he went undercover as a bartender to prepare for his role in the action adventure.

As reported by People, while promoting his latest release, the actor opened up about his undercover job and what happened when word started to spread. “So I went to a bartending school. I ended up doing a few shifts at this bar in London, which was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it. And it's a nice little set piece in the movie,”

Holland continued that as word spread around town and people started to figure out that he was apparently taking shifts at a bar, the general manager soon found out and he got kicked out.

The actor also added that one of his favourite things about what we do for a living is when there is an opportunity to learn a new skill for a reason, other than just wanting to give it a go.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the movie is based on Naughty Dog's video game series of the same name. Holland plays the role of Nathan Drake, a young fortune hunter, while Wahlberg plays Victor "Sully" Sullivan, a seasoned fortune hunter who previously worked with Nathan's brother.

The movie, which first entered development in 2008, had a long and rocky road before its release. While all the star power attracted fans, the movie is receiving mixed reviews following its release. Holland is getting praise for his role as Nathan and for some of the action sequences in the movie.
