Poran, Surongo, and Toofan – Raihan Rafi gave three consecutive hits in Bangladesh. How does he celebrate his success? The director is spending vacation in the USA. His latest film Toofan features Shakib Khan, Mimi Chakraborty, Chanchal Chowdhury and others. It was released in Bangladesh during Eid and was dropped in India two weeks later.

Raihan Rafi talked about Toofan from the US. "We worked hard. The shooting took place in two countries. Then there was the promotion over two countries. The audience did not turn us down. The film is a success in the two countries and abroad. Now I need rest. Otherwise, I can't concentrate on the next film,” he told Anandabazar Online.

There was the announcement of the sequel at the end of Toofan. Will he start the work after returning to Bangladesh? The director said, “That's the plan now. We are working on the script. Toofan will come back on a bigger scale.” However, the production houses in the two Bengals will confirm it. Almost all the actors from the previous film will be in the franchise. Rafi said that some more Tollywood A-listers can be in the sequel. What about Mimi Chakraborty? The audience from Kolkata wants to watch her on screen. Rafi smilingly said 'Mimi was not shown dead in the film. Hence, she will be seen in the sequel. Chanchal Choudhury will also be there. Let us see.'

Mimi also said on Instagram on Friday that the sequel would be made. She celebrated the success with a trip. The actress went to North Bengal. Mimi shared the photo on social media which shows a glimpse of the mountain in the backdrop. Mimi also celebrated her elder sister's daughter's birthday. While cutting the cake, she sang Toofan's popular song Dushtu Kokil.
