SVF, along with Chorki and Alpha Eye, are producing the film. Producers from Bangladesh are considering Jisshu as the villain. However, neither the makers nor Jisshu commented anything about this so far. Toofan is an action film, directed by Raihan Rafi. Sources say that Bangladeshi actor Afran Nisho was first offered the role, but he did not want to do it. Last year, Nisho’s acting in the film Surongo, directed by Rafi, attracted the audience’s attention in both Bangladesh and India.
Mimi and Shakib completed the first schedule’s shooting in Hyderabad. Some parts will be shot in Kolkata. Jisshu previously stunned the audience by playing the villain in the film Zulfiqar. He again appeared as a character with negative shades in Srijit Mukherji’s Puja release Dawshom Awbotaar. It was assumed that his character in the film Khadaan is also of a negative shade. As per reports, he is probably playing Dev’s friend in the film. Now it remains to see whether Jisshu says yet to Toofan.
