The movie Tooth Pari: When Love Bites transports viewers to a world where vampires and humans coexist, but neither is aware of the presence of the other. This romantic fantasy thriller offers a "love bite" you won't soon forget. It is set in the enigmatically lovely Kolkata, the city of joy. The vampire Rumi broke one of her "fangs" while on a hunt, and that was when everything began. Sparks flare when Roy, the timid, boy-next-door 'human' dentist, treats her as a patient! Even if it might seem implausible, one cannot ignore this love story. Your hearts are about to skip a beat thanks to Shantanu Maheshwari as Doc Roy and Tanya Maniktala as the disobedient vampire Rumi.

Talking about her character, Tanya Maniktala aka Rumi shares, “There is a sense of joy and mystery to Rumi. I see courage in Rumi and I find it so beautiful. There’s a charisma to her that I find so endearing and that is her, that is her aura, everybody is automatically drawn towards her, and she does nothing. She's just as cool as one can be but you can't help falling in love with her (smiles).”

What about Rumi and Roy’s love story, you ask?  The hurdles they encounter give the series' plot a deeper level of complexity, and their chemistry is obvious. That's not all, either. The romances we've witnessed so far are nothing like Roy and Rumi's story. Why? because the usual is boring!

Speaking of the love story, Tanya further added, “As Tanya when I read Roy and Rumi's scenes, Rumi came across as someone who is feisty, like she must get her way and Roy is someone who is timid in comparison to Rumi. He would be the person who would require the least amount of attention in a room as opposed to Rumi who draws eyes on her without even trying. So, both of them trying to build a relationship knowing all the challenges, is very endearing. And that's the thing about love right, you don't really get to decide or choose the person you fall in love with or when you fall in love with.”

The series "Tooth Pari: When Love Bites" is an exhilarating rollercoaster experience with all you might want. It appeals to a wide range of genres, including action, romance, and mystery, and the narrative offers a compelling and moving experience that will hold audiences' attention throughout.

Netflix's "Tooth Pari: When Love Bites" will start premiering on April 20th.
