Kannada actor Diganth’s third release for the year, after Bachelor Party and Marigold, is The Judgement, a legal thriller that will be in theatres on May 24. In the film by director Gururaj Kulkarni, Diganth is an innocent man who lands in jail for a crime he has not committed. When the prosecutor who sent him to jail realizes his mistake, he then works towards freeing the person he’s wronged. The film has V Ravichandran as the prosecutor, while Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Meghana Gaonkar and Dhanya Ramkumar have pivotal roles.
Debutant director Abhijit Mahesh’s comedy around a bachelor party gone wrong, has Diganth as one of the leads, in an unhappy marriage that he is desperate to salvage. However, when he lands in Bangkok after a night of too much alcohol, he realizes that the marriage he’s trying to save may not be worth it after all.
