Chaleya

If you are a Shah Rukh Khan fan, it is highly unlikely that you have not heard Chaleya – a Hindi song from his movie Jawan. The melodious soundtrack was sung by legendary singers Shilpa Rao and Arijit Singh. In October, this romantic song added a feather to its hat as it emerged as the most streamed track on music app Spotify India. As of now, it has over 135 million views on YouTube.

Khalasi

The song Khalasi by Achint and Aditya Gadhvi has gone crazy viral on social media. So much so that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated the song and is loving every beat of it. “Khalasi is topping the charts and Aditya Gadhvi is winning hearts for his music. This video brings back memories from a special interaction...,” wrote PM Modi on microblogging site X today. The official video on YouTube –which was released in July this year – was popular during this year’s Navratri festivities in October.

So Elegant, So Beautiful, Just Looking Like A Wow

The origin of the "Just Looking Like a Wow" meme can be traced back to a video featuring Jasmeen Kaur, who passionately promotes salwar suits on Instagram. In the video released in October, Kaur energetically employs the phrase "just looking like a wow" to express her admiration for the clothing, and her contagious enthusiasm propelled the video to viral fame.

Last evening, Union Minister for Consumer Affairs & Food & Public Distribution and Textiles, Piyush Goyal, became a part of the trend. He took to X, formerly Twitter, and shared a picture of Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill alongside a picture of Mohammad Shami celebrating his achievement. "So beautiful...So elegant...Just WOW #INDvSL," the Minister wrote in the post.

Friends’s song ‘I’ll be there for you’

In a sad news development, actor Matthew Perry – who gained sitcom superstardom as Chandler Bing on the show Friends, died on October 28. He was 54. Soon after this news surfaced online, almost everybody – who is active on social media, paid tribute to the legendary personality. Many of them opted to attach the song ‘I’ll be there for you’ to the reels and posts. This song, for the unfamiliar, is the key track of the show. David Crane, Marta Kauffman, Michael Skloff, and Allee Willis collaborated in penning the main theme song for the NBC sitcom Friends.

Reels around this song continue to exist even today.
