Clueless is a 1995 comedy teen drama movie, starring Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, and Brittany Murphy. The story is a modern-day adaptation of Emma by Jane Austen. The story follows a rich Beverly Hills teenager, Cher Horowitz, who befriends a new student, a clumsy teenager named Tai. Cher gives a makeover to Tai instilling her confidence with the sense of style. The movie is regarded as one of the most successful in the genre.

Bridget Jones's Diary

Based on a novel by the same name written by Helen Fielding, this is a 2001 romantic comedy movie starring Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth. Renee as Bridget is a thirty-year-old English woman who decides to start writing a diary in which she wishes to record all about her career, daily life, and romantic relationships. However, after two love encounters, her viewpoint changes drastically.

An American fantasy comedy flick released in 2004, stars Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo. The story is all about 13-year-old nerdy Jenna Rink who is humiliated by her friends, thereby making an unusual birthday wish to turn 30. She wakes up the next morning as a successful 30-year-old and she has no clue how it all happened.

Pretty Woman

A 1990 romantic comedy movie has Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in the lead. The story depicts a wealthy businessman who hires a courtesan to spend time over a weekend and falls in love with her. As they grow closer, they struggle to bridge the gap between their different worlds. Roberts' role in the movie won her the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.

The Princess Diaries

Based on a novel of the same name written by Meg Cabot. This is a 2001 American comedy romance film starring Julie Andrews as the Queen of fictional country Genovia, and Anne Hathaway as Mia, the Queen’s estranged granddaughter. Mia, a shy teenage school student, learns from her mother that she is the sole heir to the throne of Genovia. Her grandmother, the Queen is all set to get her a makeover to fit into the shoes of a princess. The movie has piled up good comic scenes of Mia Enroute her journey in becoming a princess.

Pride and Prejudice

If you are a fan of romantic comedy flicks then this one is surely for you, a 2003 movie starring Kam Heskin, Henry Macquire, Lucila Sola, and Orlando Seale. The story follows a sincere college student, Elizabeth who has a total focus on becoming a graduate, comes across two prospective men. One who is a charming womanizer and the other a straightforward businessman. With the aid of her friends, she must select one.

A Cinderella Story

Here’s another comedy modern fairy tale released in 2004, starring Hilary Duff, Jennifer Coolidge, Chad Micheal Murray, and Regina King. The storyline is very similar to that of the classic Cinderella story. Samantha, a teenage girl, who is mistreated by her stepfamily, is all thrilled to meet her internet beau at a Halloween dance party. As she learns how popular he is, she gets back home leaving her phone behind.
