Varisu:
Written and directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu stars Tamil superstar Vijay in the lead role. In the film, Vijay plays an estranged son, who returns to his family and inherits the family business and its myriad problems to ensure the peaceful death of his cancer-stricken father. It is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Michael:
A blood-soaked neo-noir action thriller starring Sundeep Kishan in the titular role. Set in the backdrop of the 1980s, Michael follows a territorial battle fought for the control of the Mumbai underworld. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Divyansha Kaushik, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Varun Sandesh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Ayyappa P. Sharma. And it comes with the stamp of approval from Lokesh Kanagaraj. It will start streaming on Aha on Friday.
Kranti:
Starring Kannada superstar Darshan in the lead, the film is written and directed by V. Harikrishna. It tells the story of a revolutionary entrepreneur, who takes on the might of a conglomerate that tries to privatise 12000 government schools. Rachita Ram, Ravichandran, Sumalatha and Sampath Raj. It is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam:
Helmed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam instantly became the darling of cinema lovers. Starring Mammootty in the lead role, the film follows the strange events when a man slips into a mid-morning nap and wakes up with a different memory. Mammootty's memorable performance is the highlight of this drama. It's streaming on Netflix.
Thankam:
If you are a fan of a well-made investigative thriller that keeps you guessing from the beginning till the end, then look no further. Thankam follows a journey of two gold agents from Thrissur tasked to deliver the gold to Mumbai. Well, the job sounds simple enough. But, things get tricky and challenging especially when there is so much gold involved. It is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Veera Simha Reddy:
Written and directed by Gopichand Malineni, the action movie stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a double role. The movie tells the story of a village leader who takes up arms to keep the rowdy elements in check and protect the interest of the common people. But, he has to pay a heavy price in his personal life to fulfil his duty in service of people. It will debut on Diesny Plus Hotstar on Friday at 6 PM.

#Mute is a psychological thriller which is written and directed by Prashantt Chandraah. The film follows the struggles of a pet owner, who wants to rescue her kidnapped dog.
