Tourist Family director Abishan Jeevinth turns lead actor; Anaswara Rajan makes Tamil comeback

Abishan Jeevinth, who made a smashing directorial debut this year with the Tamil family drama Tourist Family, is now all set to make his acting debut as lead as well. Abishan will be starring in an upcoming, yet-to-be-titled project, which will have Malayalam actor Anaswara Rajan will be playing the female lead.

Confirming the speculations that Tourist Family director Abishan Jeevinth will be making his directorial debut, the makers of the film on Wednesday announced it officially, and introduced the cast and crew. The revelation was made for the occasion of Vinayakar Chaturthi.

With Abishan acting as the lead, he will be paired with Malayalam actor Anaswara Rajan who was seen in hit films like Rekhachithram, and Neru. Although the actor had worked in Tamil films like Raangi and Thugs, both the film went unnoticed. The film is directed by Madhan in his directorial debut, and will have cinematography handled by Shreyaas Krishna. The music will be scored by Sean Roldan. Abishan had earlier played a supporting actor in Tourist Family.

The shooting for the film is under progress and not much about the film and its plot have been revealed. Coming from the makers of films like Good Night, Tourist Family and Lover, the upcoming project will also have Soundarya Rajinikanth serving as producer.
