Tourist Family, the 2025 hit Tamil family comedy drama is all set to make its OTT debut. The film, which is both a commercial success and critically acclaimed film, will premiere on JioHotstar on June 2. Tamil cinema’s one of the biggest hits this year is Tourist Family starring actors Sasikumar and Simran in the lead roles. The film is directed by debutant filmmaker Abishan Jeevinth and released in theatres on May 1. Following its successful theatrical run, the film will now premiere on JioHotstar on June 2. Led by Sasikumar and Simran in the lead roles, it is now Sasikumar’s highest grosser beating Sundara Pandian and Kutti Pulli. The film revolves around a Sri Lankan Tamil family who sneak into Tamil Nadu and seek refuge illegally. It explores the concept of brotherhood, humanity and kindness.

Tourist Family was highly praised by industry stalwarts, right from Rajinikanth to Sivakarthikeyan. The film was received well among the audience and had a successful theatrical run for over five weeks.
