Tourist Family title teaser wins hearts; Simran and Sasikumar’s film feels like a breath of fresh air

Actor-director Sasikumar and Simran will be joining forces for the upcoming Tamil film titled Tourist Family. The teaser of the film was released by the makers on social media on Friday, which won the hearts of many, setting high expectations for the family drama.

Tourist Family teaser wins hearts of many

We had earlier reported that Sasikumar and Simran will team up for a film. On Friday, the makers announced the title as Tourist Family, and released the title teaser. The makers of the film have not announced the release date.

The film, starring Sasikumar and Simran in the lead roles, is a wholesome family entertainer. It is written and directed by Abishan Jeevinth in his debut.

Unlike a usual teaser, Tourist Family makers released an intriguing sequence in the about 4-minute video. We see a family packing their bags as we get to know that they are speaking Tamil the Sri Lankan way. The couple is played by Simran and Sasikumar, and the middle-aged couple has two children. We see the older boy refusing to pack his items as he does not want to leave his lover behind. The wife asks not to shout and let the neighbours know. It appears that the family is in a hurry to escape.

The title teaser is refreshing and hints that the film appears to be a wholesome family entertainer. Where is the family escaping? Who are they? The answers to the questions about the hopeless family will be answered in the updates to follow.

The film is written and directed by Abishan Jeevinth in his debut. Besides Simran and Sasikumar, the film also stars Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bucks, Elango Kumaravel, Sreeja Ravi.

Tourist Family is backed by Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banner Million Dollar Studios, and MRP Entertainment.
