The trailer of the upcoming Tamil film Tourist Family has been released by the makers on social media on Wednesday. The film stars Simran and Sasikumar in the lead roles, and will hit the big screens on May 1.
Sasikumar and Simran-starrer Tourist Family has been getting positive early reviews. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on May 1. The family drama is written and directed by Abishan Jeevinth in his debut, and is the first time Sasikumar and Simran are collaborating.
The trailer of the film begins with a Sri Lankan family of four, with the father (played by Sasikumar) teaching his younger son what to say if they are caught by police. And right in time, the family is caught by Tamil Nadu police on the shore. The younger son says that they came by mistake after losing their way. Soon, the trailer shifts to Tamil Nadu where we see Yogi Babu helping the Sri Lankan family seek refuge by forging documents. However, the family finds a tough time adapting to the local accent. Soon the story takes a serious turn, as the immigrant family face the wrath of joblessness and is hunted down by local police. They are searched by officials. The cast of Tourist Family also includes Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bucks, Elango Kumaravel, and Sreeja Ravi. Tourist Family is backed by Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banner Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment.
