Tovino Thomas and Saiju Sreedharan team up for Munpe; here’s the first-look poster

Tovino Thomas is going through a very exciting phase in his acting career, with a handful of promising projects in his kitty. The talented actor, who never believed in maintaining an onscreen image, has been experimenting a lot with the roles and projects he picks. Recently, Tovino took to his official social media handles and revealed the first-look poster of his next outing, Munpe. The upcoming project is helmed by editor-turned-director, Saiju Sreedharan.

Tovino Thomas reveals Munpe first-look poster

The cast and crew members of Munpe, including leading man Tovino Thomas and editor-director Saiju Sreedharan, released the first-look motion poster of the film on social media. “Munpe... ‘To what extent will you go to get back the one you lost? Get ready to plunge into the depths of @munpethemovie - an intense, fantastical love story that is out of this world!” wrote the popular actor, who shared the promising first look of the film on his social media handles.

The first-look poster showcases Tovino Thomas’s character reaching out to a loved one who is seen slowly vanishing into space. From the poster, it is safe to assume that Saiju Sreedharan’s upcoming directorial venture revolves around a unique love story, which will be narrated with a touch of fantasy. The costumes of the leading man in the first-look poster also hint that the movie might be set in a different period. The mysterious background score of the first-look motion poster also suggests the same.

However, the makers of Munpe have not revealed any hints on the film’s plot, or Tovino Thomas’s character, so far. Saiju Sreedharan, the director himself handles the editing of the film. The project is written by Tina Thomas. Sushin Shyam is composing the original score for the film. Rex Vijayan is composing the songs. Shinoz is the director of photography. Appunni Sajan handles the production design. Munpe is produced by Dolwin Kuriakose, who is reuniting with Tovino after the upcoming cop drama Anweshippin Kandethum, under the banner Theatre of Dreams.
