The makers of the Malayalam film Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam released its trailer today (February 23). The social drama is slated to hit the big screen on March 1. Subish Sudhi, Aju Varghese, and Gouri G Kishan are playing pivotal roles in this movie.
The trailer teases a thought-provoking social drama that addresses a topic that is still taboo in our culture. The two-minute video offers a glimpse of the entire cast and storyline of the movie. The movie's hilarious turn of events follows a male vasectomy initiative that is implemented in a panchayat as part of the National Population Control Mission, according to the trailer. It also hints at a sombre undertone to the movie, with court cases surrounding this topic.

It is revealed that Gouri's character works for the initiative and is tasked with persuading the men in this panchayat to have this surgery. She is seen convincing Subish's character to have the procedure done. The stigma associated with married couples who are childless is also covered in the film.
The movie's teaser, which was out earlier this month, hinted at a story of rural communities' awareness of birth control. In the song titled Aake Thaarumaarithu, Gouri G Kishan portrayed a government employee entrusted with educating the public about birth control options tailored to men.
Cast and crew behind Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam
In the supporting cast of Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam are Shelly, Vineeth Vasudev, Darsana S. Nair, Gokulan, Vijay Babu, Lal Jose, and Jaffer Idukki. This social drama is being directed by T V Renjith, a debutante.
Under the auspices of Bhavani Productions, T V Krishnan, Renjith Jaganathan, and K C Raghunathan are bankrolling the movie. Nizam Rawther wrote the screenplay.
The editor is Jithin D K, and the camera work has been overseen by Ansar Shah. Ajmal Hasbulla composed the soundtracks for Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam. The lyrics to the songs were written by Anvar Ali and Vaisakh Sugunan. The executive producer is Nagaraj Nani.
