Trailer of Tovino Thomas’ star-studded Nadikar to drop on THIS date!

The makers of Malayalam upcoming film Nadikar dropped a major update today (April 26). They confirmed that the movie’s trailer will be released tomorrow (April 27) during an event in Lulu Mall, Kochi. One of Tovino Thomas's most anticipated releases of the year, this movie is directed by Lal Jr. On May 3, the film is scheduled to premiere on big screens.

High expectations for Tovino Thomas’ Nadikar

Numerous fans of the actor congratulated Tovino on his decision to portray a range of characters on social media, while others shared their enthusiasm for the film, following its announcement. Soubin Shahir, Bhavana, Balu Varghese, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Suresh Krishna, Manikuttan, Shine Tom Chacko, Veena Nandakumar, Anoop Menon, Lal, Ranjith, and Madhupal are among the other cast members of Nadikar.

The mention of the protagonist's family's injustice and the impending uprising sets the beginning of the video. But later on, in the Nadikar teaser, things change, and we meet David Padikkal, a young superstar with a colourful lifestyle. He is a ludicrous superstar who continues to think of himself as the biggest name in the movie industry.

Even after delivering several box office failures, David is adamant that he is still an iconic name and will not collaborate with "old-school" filmmakers. He is depicted by the media as an "unworthy, naive person who thinks he is some sort of superhero" in the meantime.

Nadikar promises to be an enjoyable experience for Malayalam viewers thanks to its well-executed comedic moments, sporadic serious moments, and impactful performances by the actors.

Nadikar Thilakam to Nadikar

As was previously mentioned, the project was formerly known as Nadikar Thilakam. But in response to a backlash, the creators later removed the second word from the title. Actor Prabhu—son of Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganeshan—explained at a poster launch event in Kochi that he had been asked to ask the film's producers to change the title by a number of the late Sivaji Ganeshan's ardent fans.
