Television host and political commentator Trevor Noah has announced that he will serve as executive producer on the upcoming docu-series The Tipping Point, produced in collaboration with TIME Studios, Sugar23 and P&G Studios.
The Daily Show host announced his excitement about teaming up with the collaborators to produce the series during ‘one of the most fascinating and challenging periods in modern history’.
Noah hopes that the series will help give a clear idea of the present state of contemporary society, lay out instances of humankind’s perseverance and also optimistically stated that it might ignite hope for the future.
The new show will reportedly shed light on political issues including voting and civil rights, American democracy, human rights and healthcare, the global refugee crisis and LGBTQ rights. Each episode in the series will serve as a standalone documentary film, providing a comprehensive account of the issue it will focus on.
Actors Kat Graham and Angelina Jolie, as well as singer, Lance Bass are also reportedly going to be a part of the project.
In addition to Trevor Noah, Alexa Conway, Michael Sugar, David Hillman, Ashley Zalta, Ian Orefice and Haroon Saleem will also serve as executive producers.
