This week, he announced his return as host of the 2024 Grammy Awards, a role in which he's mastered for the past three years. This news caps a remarkable journey, from inheriting Jon Stewart's legacy in 2015 to becoming the undisputed maestro of music's most prestigious night.
Trevor Noah's other comedy shows
Noah’s latest comedy special – Where Was I, is the fourth original special of the comedian on Netflix. For the unversed, Noah’s journey on Netflix began with Afraid of the Dark in 2017, followed by Son of Patricia in 2018. Four years later, he returned with I Wish You Would, filmed live at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena in November 2022.
Noah's world tour to India
In September, Noah attended a world tour – Off The Road, organised by BookMyShow Live. It was quite different from his usual comedy tours. This time, he not only just told jokes on stage, but also had some good chats with the audiences. They asked him questions, and he asked them questions too. Noah has also visited India and performed across Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai through September to October 2023.
Trevor Noah is famous for trolling Donald Trump openly for his crazy politics. Hence, some fans were surprised that he did not talk about that much in that show. Instead, he talked about different types of cricket, which not everyone was interested in. Some people missed the Trump jokes, but it was still fun to see Trevor chat with the audience.
Noah's US shows in 2024
Trevor Noah is all set to perform in many concerts in the US and a few in other countries throughout 2023 and 2024. Next year, he will start off with several shows in Baltimore from January 11 to 14, and Austin, Texas from January 24 to 28. Then, he will travel to Dallas. There he will perform from March 14 and 15, Seattle from March 19 to 24, San Diego from April 11 to 14, and Washington, D.C. from April 24 to 27, 2024.
