Directed by Aleya Sen, Bollywood star Genelia D'Souza will soon be essaying a titular role in a movie titled Trial Period. In the movie, Genelia throws light on her character as a single mother Ana, whose world turns upside down when her son demands a father within a trial period of 30 days.
While the buzz around the project continues to gain momentum, the makers of the movie today have dropped a song from the upcoming family drama titled Dhappa. In the song, Genelia can be seen going on random dates with strangers in a cafeteria in order to fulfill her son’s wish.
The song is beautifully sung by Saloni Aggarwal, Yashika Sikka, and Mayank Mehra and the lyrics have been rendered by Sidhant Mago. Not only this, but the video of the song also features actors Manav Kaul, Sheeba Chadda, Gajraj Rao, and Shakti Kapoor in key roles.

In just two hours, the song has received over 12,000 views on YouTube. One YouTube user commented, “Awesome song.” Another user commented, “I love Genelia in it.”
Lead actress of the movie, Genelia d’Souza, even posted about the development on her Instagram handle. Genelia’s post has received about 30,000 likes so far.
Trial Period is slated to be released on July 25 only on Jio Cinemas.
