After its premiere on June 8, Halftime will be available to stream on Netflix from June 14.

Halftime, a Netflix documentary, will have its worldwide premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8. This documentary focuses on Jennifer Lopez and her career as a globally recognised singer, performer and actor.
Halftime will premiere at the United Palace in Washington Heights in upper Manhattan, close to the Bronx, where Lopez grew up.
The documentary, directed by Amanda Micheli, will provide an intimate, behind-the-scenes look into Lopez’s preparation for her Super Bowl Halftime show, where she shared the stage with Shakira, as well as her performance at the recent presidential inauguration.
Micheli expressed her gratitude for Halftimebeing chosen for Tribeca’s opening night, calling it a “dream come true.”

Jane Rosenthal, co-founder and CEO of Tribeca Enterprises, also expressed her sentiments about the Tribeca Film Festival's Halftime opening, as the documentary showcases Lopez's activism via her historic Super BowlHalftime show, with which she is extremely pleased.
"Strong stories, whether it be in music, movies, or video games, inspires us to strive for universal principles that unite humanity. Halftime, starring Jennifer Lopez, reminds us of it," said Robert De Niro, co-founder of Tribeca Productions film studio, according to Variety.
Besides being an accomplished singer and performer, Lopez has also been a part of the movie industry for a long time. Her breakout role was a biopic on Latin songstress Selena in 1997. Most recently, she was seen in Marry Me, a romantic comedy also starring Owen Wilson for which she also recorded the official soundtrack. The album was her first musical release after her 2014 album AKA.
This year’s Tribeca festival will take place from June 8 to June 19 and is expected to be a full-fledged in-person event since the pandemic began in 2020. The festival will include film premieres, talks with industry experts, live concerts and performances.
Halftime will premiere on Netflix on June 14.
