Trina Saha and Kaushik Roy are back on TV

Star Jalsha serial Khorkuto ended with a lasting impression. The show ended with Gungun’s (Trina Saha) death, which broke the hearts of many fans of the actress. That time Leena Gangopadhyay, who wrote the serial, was also trolled for such an ending. However, Trina is coming back to the small screen once again. 

The popular pair of Trina Saha and Koushik Roy, famous for their chemistry in Khorkuto, is returning on television. Lalon of Dhulokona, played by Indrasish Roy, will also be in the show. Leena Gangopadhyay approved of the news. She said, “Yes, a new serial is coming. Trina Saha, Koushik Roy, and Indrasish Roy will play the lead roles.” However, the story is a bit different. It will portray a love story in a political backdrop. 

Trina said that she does not yet know the details. She said ‘yes’ as she completely trusts Leena. Koushik is abroad and Indrasish’s present work is not over yet. Hence the three did not sit together. However, fans of the couple Gungun and Soujanya are elated at the news. They were captivated by the love story of Soujanya and Gungun. 

Right now a number of serials are coming to Star Jalsa and Zee Bangla. Bangla Medium will start next week on Star Jalsha. The serial will show the popular pair Neel Bhattacharya and Tiyasha. Gourab and Shruti Das of Trinayani-fame are returning with Ranga Bou. After a long break, Swastika Dutta is coming back to the small screen with the serial Tomar Khola Hawa on Zee Bangla. Ritwik Mukhopadhyay who played Satyaki in Ei Poth Jodi Na Sesh Hoy is pairing with Arunima Halder of Sahachari in the serial Mon Dite Chai.
