Trisha meets fans during Raangi FDFS; film to stream on OTT from THIS date?

​Trisha's latest outing Raangi, directed by M Saravanan, hit screens today and the actress has been basking in the reviews for her performance in the film.Trisha paid a visit to her fans during the first day first show of the film at a theatre in Chennai and the videos of the same have been doing the rounds on the internet. The actress stepped into the theatre in casual attire, met all of her fans and interacted with them. Videos of the same are now doing the rounds on the internet.

The film has opened to mixed reviews. While the actress's performance in the film has been lauded, the film itself has been criticised for its many flaws in the script. Trisha plays a journalist named Thaiyal Nayagi, who masquerades as a 16-year-old to get to know more about a terrorirst in Tunisia. In the attempt, she ends up risking her own life along with her niece's. The film also stars Anaswara Rajan and John Mahendran as part of the star cast. The plot has been penned by AR Murugadoss.

In the meantime, the actress is gearing up for her next, The Road. She will also be seen in the second instalment of Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan. In the meantime, it is said that Trisha will be seen opposite Vijay in Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming film, Thalapathy67. Though the actress refused to comment on the same during the promotions of Raangi, she said that she would also like to work with Thalapathy once again and added that it's been more than a decade and she was looking forward to teaming up with him. She stated that she would be speaking about the film only next year. There is also a buzz that she will work with Ajith's next as well. An official confirmation about both is awaited.
