Trouble in paradise? Deepika Padukone breaks silence on rumoured split with husband Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are undoubtedly one of the most beloved power couples in Bollywood today. Fans were distressed to say the least when recently reports started to emerge that there was a rift between the couple and that the duo were considering getting separated. Recently, Deepika laid rest to all these rumours when she finally broke her silence about the reports.

In conversation with Meghan Markle on Megan’s podcast, Archetypes, Deepika revealed that things between her and Ranveer were great. The Gehraiyaan actress said that Ranveer had been attending a music festival for a week, and had recently come back home. “So, he is gonna be happy to see my face,” she said.

During the podcast, Meghan shared how her husband Harry had helped her through her own tough times. The Duchess revealed that her husband had helped her connect with a professional when she was at her lowest point in life. Meghan also spoke about how important it was that people do not hesitate to ask for help when they really need it.

Deepika and Ranveer had dated each other for almost 6 years before tying the knot back in 2018. The couple have also shared the screen in a number of films, including Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela(2013), Bajirao Mastani(2015), Padmaavat(2018) and 83(2021).

Meanwhile Deepika was last seen in an uncredited cameo role in Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. The actress’ upcoming releases include Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham; Nag Ashwin’s Project K with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan; and Siddharth’s Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. She will also reportedly have cameo roles in Atlee’s Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara; and Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus with Ranveer.

Ranveer was last seen in Divyang Thakkar’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He will next be seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt; and Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus.
