TRP: Bengali serial gets a new topper as Jagaddhatri slides down to 2

Thursday is the time when television serials get their weekly verdicts. Zee Bangla’s Jagaddhatri which also streams on Zee 5 was the topper for months on the TRP list. This week, while the serial still scores pretty high, it has been replaced by another megaserial, Neem Phuler Madhu.

Jagaddhatri scored 8.6 and managed the second position while Phulki bagged the third position with 8.3. However, it was Neem Phuler Madhu that topped the chart with 8.7. All the top three serials stream on Zee5.

Neem Phuler Modhu which features Pallavi Sharma and Rubel Das got a major push this week. Three members of ‘Dutta Bari’ got kidnapped. Parna (Pallavi) and Srijan (Rubel) go to Bihar to rescue them. According to the viewers, those were the thrilling episodes and that was reflected on TRP.  

Star Jalsha serial Geeta LLB (Disney+ Hotstar) and Kon Gopone Mon Bhesheche scored 7.8 and jointly bagged the fourth position. Kotha was in the fifth position.

Geeta LLb and Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche: 7.8

Kotha: 7.2

Kar Kache Koi Moner Kotha: 6.8

Anuraager Chowa: 6.5

Sandhyatara: 6.4

Alor Kole: 5.9

Tomader Rani: 5.7

Star Jalsha serial Sandhyatara ended this weak. While it could never defeat Phulki to top the slot, it maintained a high TRP. In fact, it ended while it remained in the eighth position. However, Anuraager Chhowa slipped down to seventh position. Another serial, Icchey Putul, will end this week. It was ousted by its slot competition, Tomader Rani. 

On the other hand, Alor Kole and Mithi Jhora have started gaining momentum after the initial hiccups.
