The trailer for the Netflix limited series True Story is finally out. Starring Kevin Hart in the lead role, in the show, the comedian-actor plays the role of a comedian based out of Philadelphia. The thriller drama shows the world-famous comedian coming back to his hometown for a tour. However, he is forced to answer the question of how far he'll go to protect what he has.

The series also features Wesley Snipes as Kevin's onscreen brother and showcases the gripping journey of two brothers entangled in a world of celebrity, crime, and lies. Kevin's character desperately searches for a way out after a night in Philadelphia with his brother threatens to sabotage more than his success.

True Story also features Tawny Newsome, Will Catlett, Paul Adelstein, Theo Rossi, Ash Santos, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos, Lauren London and Billy Zane in supporting roles. 

Stephen Williams of Lost and Watchmen fame has directed the first three episodes of the series and also executive produced it. While Hanelle Culpepper, the helmer of Star Trek Picard has directed the final four episodes. 

The tagline of True Story is 'Betrayal is Relative'. Earlier while sharing his excitement for the limited series, Kevin had shared on his Instagram page, "Know where your loyalties lie. True Story will drop on Netflix during the Thanksgiving weekend that is, on November 24, 2021. 

Meanwhile, Kevin also has another outing with Netflix which is a heist-based film titled Lift. The film is being helmed by F Gary Gray and the comedian called it a 'dream come true' project which will come out in 2022.
