Actor Amitabh Bachchan has thanked Twitter CEO, Elon Musk, in his own witty style, after regaining his blue tick on the social media platform. After Twitter introduced its paid subscription model for verified accounts, many Indian celebrities, including Amitabh, lost their blue ticks. The actor lost the verification mark even after paying the subscription fees and reacted to the situation with such humorous tweets.

Making use of his Uttar Pradesh dialect, the actor wrote on Twitter, “T 4624 - ae Musk bhaiyya! Bahut bahut dhanyavaad det hain ham aapaka! Uu, neel kamal lag gava hamaar naam ke aage. "Ab ka batayi bhaiyya!  gaana gaye ka mann karat hai hamaar! Sanbo ka? Ee leo suna: "Tu cheez badee hai Musk Musk ... too cheez badee hai, musk."

The original song, Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast, is from Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon-starrer 1994 film, Mohra. Directed by Rajiv Rai, the film also stars Suniel Shetty, Naseeruddin Shah, Gulshan Grover and Paresh Rawal among others.

Earlier, Big B had requested the Twitter CEO to restore his blue tick in a post, writing, "T 4623 - Hey Twitter brother! Are you listening? Now I even paid...so put back the blue lotus (tick) in front of my name, so that people know that it is Amitabh Bachchan only. I have already made request with folded hands, now should I fall at your feet?"

The social media website had announced that it will remove the blue tick verified marks on accounts approved before Elon’s takeover unless they have subscribed to Twitter Blue or the business-focused Twitter Verified Organizations plan.

Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, others who have lost their verification tick include Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma, among others.

On the work front, Amitabh will be seen next in Ribhu Dasgupta’s Special 84, a courtroom drama thriller also starring Diana Penty, Nimrat Kaur, and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles.  He was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai, sharing screen space with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Parineeti Chopra.
