Despite a tough clash with several films, the movie added a few crores to its domestic earnings, unlike Kapil Sharma’s comedy sequel Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which tanked at the theater because of Dhurandhar. Sameer Vidwans’ Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri failed to convert traffic in its favour even on a weekend. Despite a holiday mood, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s rom-com crushed at the box office as it minted a low collection in its first weekend. After opening with Rs 7.75 crore, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri had a diluted collection with single-digit earnings. On Sunday (December 28), the movie earned Rs 5.25 crore (early estimates), according to Sacnilk. The total collection now adds to Rs 23.75 crore in India with 24.85% Hindi occupancy on the fourth day. Reportedly, the rom-com was made on a budget of Rs 90 crore, and analysing its slow collection and the upcoming release of Dharmendra and Agastya Nanda’s Ikkis, it seems nearly impossible to even recover it.

Dhurandhar and Hollywood films reign at the Box Office
On December 28, Dhurandhar and Avatar: Fire and Ash outshone Kartik Aaryan’s rom-com with an impressive collection despite several days of its theatrical release. While Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar earned Rs 22 crore on Sunday, James Cameron’s Avatar 3 raked in Rs 10.75 crore. Both the movies crushed TMMTMTTM.
Meanwhile, Jack Black and Paul Rudd’s horror comedy film Anaconda continues to hit rock bottom at the box office as it collected only Rs 4.25 crore in four days of its theatrical release in India.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, aka TMMTMTTM, premiered on December 25. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the modern-day romance centers around Rumi and Ray, who fall in love despite their clashing attitudes and personalities as they have a fated encounter in Croatia. Ananya Panday plays Rumi, a young girl who is tangled between her heart and family responsibilities. Kartik Aaryan plays Ray, a charismatic and flirtatious boy.
