Shanaya Kapoor's debut film Tu Yaa Main was announced a while back, and it is one of the most iconic teasers you would have seen in the recent past. Despite having a name like Bejoy Nambiar associated with the film, there's more sleaze than thrill in this one. Maybe a gen z could relate to the content, but the honest question is, where is the content?

Tu Yaa Main announcement

Tu Yaa Main announcement feels like being fed forced 'content,' because where is the thrill or genuine emotions? All that the announcement offers is bland or over-the-top emotions.

Adarsh Gourav's POV

Adarsh Gourav is shown as a biker YouTuber who is free-spirited. His latest destination is a lake around Mumbai. He wants to explore the sunrise from there and share it with his viewers. Studs covering his face, he is busy using tapori language for more viewers, which is when a woman comes into his life. Thereon begins the sleaze - they are in competition. It is till a crocodile drags him away. The two were simply leisurely waiting for the moment, from the looks of it.

Shanaya Kapoor's POV

Given it is her debut film, Shanaya Kapoor could have made this one more impactful. Unfortunately, it is a huge opportunity lost. Wearing unrealistically huge earrings in the sea, make-up intact, this is lust at first sight for both (she literally checks him out and challenges him). The two discuss a collab, in which he mentions, "Sirf content bolega," piquing her interest. Just for the sake of the title, there's a dialogue, "Yaa Tu Yaa Main." Just when we see her lean in for what looks like a kiss, he gets dragged away. It is her overacting in the scream that kills the buzz. But, judging a film based on the particular scene might be unfair, so one can only wait for the bigger announcements. For now, this is a dud.

Adarsh Gourav's last project

A part of some popular projects like The White Tiger, Rukh and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Adarsh Gourav was last seen in Woh Bhi Kya Din The. The Sajid Ali (Laila Majnu helmer) directorial featured Adarsh in the role of Joy. The movie starred John Abraham in the lead role of Rahul Sinha and is available for streaming on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium.

Adarsh Gourav is also a part of Sridevi's last ever movie MOM, which is getting a sequel with Khushi Kapoor soon. While it is unlikely that the actor would return for the sequel, the doors are not completely shut on the possibility. The film, too, can be streamed on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium.
