This is a time when film promotions have taken a hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic and most actors are largely restricting their promotional activities to the digital medium. As a result, the direct connection between the stars and fans has gone for a toss. However, Amazon Prime Video adopted a unique strategy for their latest Telugu release, Tuck Jagadish, where the film's lead actor Nani conversed with fans at a popular mall (Inorbit Mall Tech City) in Hyderabad through an interactive poster. Crowds at the mall who believed it to be a regular poster all the while, were surprised to see it come alive and Nani talk.

Indeed, nothing is impossible in the digital era. Amazon Prime Video made use of a unique state-of-art technology where Nani could witness the activities of crowds at the mall (through various cameras installed at the venue) and talked to them. Fans showered their love upon Nani, cheering for him, singing, dancing and sharing many reasons why they liked Tuck Jagadish (that released on the OTT platform on September 10). Some of the actor's young fans even clicked snaps with the interactive poster and their joy knew no bounds. Nani, justifiably, called the crowds an extension of his 'Tuck Jagadish family'.

The screen was installed in the mall with Nani’s static image with crowds having no clue that it could go live any moment. The offline-cum-online interaction was certainly one-of-a-kind in recent times that enabled Nani to have one-on-one conversations with his fans. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film also features Ritu Varma, Jagapathi Babu, Aishwarya Rajesh, Thiruveer, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Devadarshini, Bindu, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Naresh and Daniel Balaji in pivotal roles. The film is Nani's second direct-to-OTT release after Mohana Krishna Indraganti's V.
