The series is made by Taylor Sheridan. On their Twitter page, Paramount Plus released Stallone's look as Dwight. He is seen standing in the middle of a busy street, all confident wearing a grey t-shirt, black blazer and a pair of black pants. Sharing the look, they wrote "Here's your first look at @TheSlyStallone as New York mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi in the new #ParamountPlus Original Series, @TulsaKing."

Check it out here:

Tulsa King, by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, will be following New York mafia leader Dwight 'The General' Manfredi, as per Deadline. He is ruthlessly expelled by his master to Tulsa after being freed from jail, 25 years later to set up a store. Realising that his mob family may not be looking out for his best interests, Dwight slowly builds a 'crew' of unlikely characters to join him to establish a new criminal empire in a place that looks like another planet altogether.

According to sources, the show was initially named 'Kansas City’, with its first schedule of filming taking place in that city before moving to Oklahoma. In addition to Stallone, it will feature Domenick Lombardozzi, Max Casella, and Vincent Piazza in key parts. The project will be released in the fall of 2022.

The hero, who is most known for his groundbreaking roles in the Rocky and Rambo films, was recently seen reprising his role as Rocky Balboa in Creed and Creed II, smashing the box office. He also played King Shark in the Suicide Squad film from last year. Samaritan, Expend4bles, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will also feature him in crucial roles. He also appeared in cameo roles in a number of great TV shows such as Police Story in the 1970s and more recently in This Is Us but Tulsa King will be his first lead role in a TV series.
