Ever since the song, Tum Kya Mile, from the film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been dropped, the buzz around the project has been skyrocketing. Every day, the name of the movie and its song is trending on social media for various reasons.
The song, Tum Kya Mile, is beautifully sung by popular singers Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal.
Today, the makers of the film – Dharma Productions – dropped a sneak-peak behind the beautiful scenes of Tum Kya Mile. Taking to Twitter, Dharma Productions wrote, “A sneak-peak behind the beautiful scenes of #TumKyaMile! Watch now. #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, a film by Karan Johar in his 25th anniversary year - in cinemas on 28th July. #RRKPK”
In the post, Dharma Productions attached a video as well. In the video, actor Ranveer Singh, who plays a titular role in the upcoming movie, can be heard saying, “The essence of the song goes along with the way it has been captured. There is a certain lyricism to it.”
Alia Bhatt, who also plays a titular role in the project, says, “It is like a quintessential ode to (late filmmaker) Yash Chopra. It is a love song.”
Ranveer Singh even credits filmmaker Karan Johar for directing the project with such a magnificent vision. In the video, Ranveer says, “Every Karan Johar movie just has to have one sparkling gem of a love song and in our film, it is Tum Kya Mile.”
Alia goes on to say that it is her “first love song in a chiffon saree with snow in the backdrop”.
Ranveer even calls “Tum Kya Mile his favourite song from the album”. Alia goes on to add, “When I see the result, I feel so happy. I can proudly say that I shot this song just four months after having a baby. I really prepared myself for this. I really wanted it to be outstanding.”
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, also starring veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, will be released in theatres on July 28.
