Turbo Box Office Collection Day 4 – The action-comedy film, which marked the reunion of megastar Mammootty and hitmaker Vysakh, has already earned super hit status. The movie, which is scripted by writer-filmmaker Midhun Manuel Thomas, has been experiencing an excellent audience rush despite receiving mixed reviews. Reportedly, Turbo has entered the Rs. 50 crore club of Malayalam cinema, within just 4 days (first weekend) of its release. However, the Mammootty starrer failed to beat the record set by Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham.
According to the recent updates from trade experts, Turbo has made a total worldwide collection of over Rs. 50 crore just within the first 4 days (first weekend) of its release. On its first weekend at the theatres, the action-comedy film reportedly made around Rs. 18 crore from the Kerala box office alone. It is an extraordinary collection for the Mammootty starrer, which has been considered the megastar’s weakest film post-pandemic.
However, Turbo failed to break the first weekend box office collection record set by Aadujeevitham, the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer which hit the big screens in March 2024. The survival drama directed by senior filmmaker Blessy collected over Rs. 65 crore at the worldwide box office on its first weekend at the theatres. The Goat Life still remains the all-time biggest first-weekend box office opener of Malayalam cinema. Turbo, on the other hand, emerged as the second-biggest weekend opener from the industry in 2024.

The trade analysts suggest that Turbo will cross the Rs. 75 crore mark at the worldwide box office, within the first week of its release. The Kerala box office collection, on the other hand, is expected to cross the Rs. 25 crore mark very soon. In that case, the Mammootty starrer has the chance to enter the Rs. 100 crore club of the Malayalam film industry, by the time it completes the second weekend at the theatres.
