Tusshar Kapoor will make his OTT film debut very soon. The actor will be seen in Prerna Arora’s upcoming film, Dunk – Once Bitten Twice Shy. The movie is a direct-to-OTT release. It is a revenge-drama and Tusshar, the makers promise, will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. The film is produced by UJS Studio and Ess Kay Gee Entertainment.
Tusshar’s OTT film debut
Tusshar Kapoor will finally make his OTT film debut and that will be with Dunk. He was seen in two web series before this, which were Booo Sabki Phategi and Pop Kaun?
It is to be noted that Tusshar’s sister Ekta Kapoor has been active on OTT as a producer and has produced many shows for a long time. More recently, their father Jeetendra had also made his OTT debut.
Other actors in the film
Nidhhi Agerwal, Shivin Narang and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi will be a part of the Abhishek Jaiswal-directorial apart from Tusshar. The movie is bankrolled by Prerna Arora, who was the co-producer on Akshay Kumar’s Rustom and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and Anushka Sharma’s Pari.
About Dunk
Prerna had previously spoken on Dunk. She said it was a movie which highlights the need for legal protections, enforcement mechanism, and support systems to safeguard the rights of farmers. “As a society, we must stand united against this menace of land-grabbing, holding perpetrators accountable and advocating for policies that empower and protect our farmers,” she had said. Interestingly, the movie’s announcement comes at a time when farmers are protesting for their rights.
Tusshar Kapoor’s upcoming projects
Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2 and Welcome To The Jungle are among the projects which Tusshar will be a part of instantly. He is also an important part of the Golmaal franchise and while there is no announcement on the same after Cirkus release, the franchise could expand further and of course, Tusshar is likely to be a part of it.
