Bigg Boss contestant and actor Devoleena Bhattarcharjee, who is popularly known as Gopi bahu from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, took to her Instagram handle to share a series of pictures from her Christmas festivities with family. This was her first Christmas after getting married to her gym trainer, Shanwaz Shaikh, earlier this month.
In the series of pictures posted by Devoleena on Christmas Day, the actress can be seen bringing in the festivities with Shanwaz, her mother, and her friends, which include actress Bhavini Purohit and her businessman husband Dhaval Dave. Devoleena and Shanwaz look festive while twinning in matching red tops; in one of the pics of the newly-married couple, Shanwaz is seen giving a kiss to his lady love. While in another warm family picture, one can see Devoleena giving her mother a hug, as Shanwaz smiles standing next to them.
In yet another picture, one can see Shanwaz carrying his wife while posing with Bhavini. Devoleena looks happy and is glowing in all the pictures.
The actress accompanied the series of pictures with the caption, “ MERRY CHRISTMAS ❤️😍🥰”, with the hashtags ‘christmas’, ‘family time’, ‘celebration’ , ‘december’ and ‘favourite month’
Several celebrities commented on the pictures, including actor Vishal Singh, who dropped a smiley face emoji with heart eyes, and Bhavini, who dropped several heart emojis.
Several of Devoleena’s fans also reacted to the Christmas post. One wrote, “Merry Christmas di.” Another wrote, “Cute couple indeed”, while yet another commented, “Merry Christmas..sister devo.” Many others wrote how cute they found the pictures
