Twisted Metal trailer: Anthony Mackie's post-apocalyptic series is packed with action and humour

Anthony Mackie starrer Twisted Metal is an upcoming satirical series packed with action and thrill. Based on the classic PlayStation game, the SonyLIV show is all set to make its global premiere on July 28. Meanwhile, the makers have dropped the trailer ahead of its digital release.

The latest trailer sees, how the world completely changes one day after an unknown apocalyptic event and turns the world into a Zombieland, except in the place of zombies there are miscreants with guns taking over the world.

The show revolves around a motor-mouthed outsider who gets a deal to lead a better life if he delivers a mysterious parcel successfully across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Anthony shared a small clip from the show with a special and quirky caption on his official social media handle that reads, "That look in his eyes is so devilish Check out the new clip from Twisted Metal that debuted at this year’s @summergamefest. #TwistedMetal is streaming July 27, only on Peacock. (sic).

Created by Michael Jonathan Smith, this high-octane action comedy drama also has Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Will Arnett, Richard Cabral, and Samoa Joe in key roles.
