Prithviraj recently announced the wrap-up of the first schedule of L2 Empuraan. The actor-director announced this on Instagram and shared a photo taken at the film’s shooting location in Ladakh.

L2 Empuraan is both a prequel and a sequel to the previous movie, providing more insight into the character Stephen Nedumpally, played by Mohanlal. It’s expected to hit the theatres in the end of 2024 or early 2025.
