Nearly three weeks after its release in India, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files is now slated to release even in UAE. The movie was previously banned in the country but now the ban has been lifted and The Kashmir Files will be available to the cinemagoers there too. What’s more? The movie will release without any cuts and with the same U/A certification.
The Kashmir Files will be released in UAE after nearly a month of its India release. The movie had released in India on March 11 and will be available in UAE cinemas from April 7.
Director Vivek Agnihotri confirmed the news through his Twitter handle. He clarified that the film is rated 15+. The filmmaker is now trying to release his movie in Singapore too.

Apart from UAE and Singapore, Qatar had also imposed a ban on The Kashmir Files. The reason for the banning of the film is still unknown.
The Kashmir Files has been working well at the Box Office, even though its business has slowed down since SS Rajamouli’s RRR release. Nonetheless, viewers from metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Delhi-NCR have been still going back to watch the movie and thus, the Box Office for RRR has been affected in these belts, even if only by little.
In other news, Vivek and his wife Pallavi Joshi, also the producer of The Kashmir Files, have been invited to the British Parliament to talk about their movie. They are expected to address the topic next month.
The Kashmir Files is in its third week at this moment. If it does sustain till the coming Friday (which appears to be the case), the movie will be entering its fourth week. The movie has been declared an all-time blockbuster. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had written about the Box Office collections of the film and it is nearing Rs. 250 crores nett.
