The UEFA Nations League is now underway and we have a number of interesting games coming our way. Tomorrow, football fans have a number of games at the tournament, but most eyes will be on Croatia vs France and Austria vs Denmark.

Croatia vs France is a rematch of the 2018 World Cup final, which declared France as the world champions. Both France and Croatia had a nightmarish start to the tournament, losing out to Denmark and Austria in the opening games.

While Karim Benzema, who is on the path to the Ballon d’Or, scored the opener for France in their opening game, it was cancelled out by a second half brace by substitute Andreas Cornelius. France got more bad news, as both Kylian Mbappe and Raphael Varane were injured.

Croatia, on the other hand, lost out to Austria, now led by former Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick. Marko Arnautovic, Michael Gregoritsch and Marcel Sabitzer all scored in the game, giving the new coach the perfect start.

Austria and Denmark take first and second spot in League A Group 1 as we enter the second match. France and Croatia are now in the third and fourth spots respectively, and will try to change their positions after tomorrow’s game.

Croatia’s star players Luka Modric, Ivan Perisic, Josko Gvardiol and Sime Vrsaljko are all nursing injuries and it is unclear as to who will play and who will miss out on the second game. As mentioned before, Varane and Mbappe were both taken off, but the extent of the latter’s injury is unknown while Varane will have to sit out the rest of the games.

David Alaba did not start for Austria in their 3-0 win, as the versatile defender took time off after his Champions League final exploits. It is unclear if he will start against Denmark. Kasper Dolberg came off for Denmark last game, making his conditions unclear as well.

Both these games kick-off at 12:15 am tomorrow and can be streamed live on SonyLIV. Andorra vs Moldova, Belarus vs Azerbaijan, Iceland vs Albania, and Slovakia vs Kazakhstan are the other games from the Nations League that will kick-off at the same time.
