The makers of the upcoming Hindi film Uma have unveiled the first poster of their drama. The family drama stars Kajal Aggarwal in the titular role along with Tinnu Anand, Harsh Chhaya, Meghana Malik, Gaurav Sharma, Shriswara, Ayoshi Talukdar and Kiaan Sharma.
The actor too shared the poster on her Instagram account introducing the film to her fans. In the caption, she wrote: "Here’s the poster of My new film - UMA. Directed by Tathagata Singha, produced by Avishek Ghosh (AVMA Media) & Mantraraj Paliwal (Miraj Creations), co starring Tinnu Anand, Meghna Malik, Harsh Chhaya, Gaurav Sharma, Shriswara, Ayoshi Talukdar and Kiaan Sharma."

The film is a family drama of an aristocratic household with a backdrop of a wedding where the entire family gathers. The drama unfolds through the multifaceted characters in the house when a stranger Uma arrives at their house.
The actor had wrapped up the shoot of the film in August. After the wrap, the actor had issued a statement saying that her eponymous character has left her with "beautiful hangover". She had further said that she had a fabulous experience working on Uma with all the artists and technicians. "Certain characters that just stay with you and Uma is going to leave me with a massive, beautiful hangover! This is one film which is all heart, I'm very excited about and will always cherish," she was quoted as saying. Now, we are all eager too to find out what the film has in store for us.
The film is produced by Avishek Ghosh and Mantraraj Paliwal under the banners of Avma Media and Miraj Group respectively. Further details about the release date and the film are yet to be out.
Meanwhile, the actor is currently busy with several projects in her kitty. She made her digital debut on Disney+ Hotstar with director Venkat Prabhu's Live Telecast. She is awaiting the release of her Tamil film Paris Paris, the remake of the hit Hindi film Queen. She also has Hey Sinamika along with Dulquer Salmaan and Aditi Rao Hydari; Acharya with Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde; horror-comedy Ghosty, Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 and an untitled film each with director Deekay and Praveen Sattaru.
