Umbrella Academy is one of the fan-favourite shows that are still streaming on Netflix. As the third season of the show gets ready for release, the streaming platform has provided the fans with character posters for season 3, which introduce the Sparrow Academy.
The second season of Umbrella Academy ended on a surprising and unexpected note, with the Hargreeves siblings returning back to the present after a stint in the 1960s, only to find that they probably messed with the timeline, and Sir Reginald Hargreeves found the Sparrow Academy and not the Umbrella Academy.
Following the success of the second season, the actors and members of the Sparrow Academy were confirmed. Now Netflix has released character posters of these members. While fans got a glimpse at them at the end of season 2, this is the first time fans get a proper look.
Justin Cornwell (Marcus), Justin H. Min (Ben), Britne Oldford (Fei), Jake Epstein (Alphonso), Genesis Rodriguez (Sloane), Cazzie David (Jayme), and Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube (Christopher) are the actors who play the members of the Sparrow Academy.
While the posters do not reveal much about the characters, they visibly are more roughed up than the members of the Umbrella Academy. The most intriguing poster is of Christopher, a telekinetic cube who is treated as a member of the family.
The series follows a group of siblings with superpowers, who make up the Umbrella Academy. They set out on a journey to save the planet and the people from extinction and end up being thrown back into the past.
The filming of season 3 has been completed and Netflix has confirmed that it will release in 2022, but there is no exact date available as of now.
