Unable to face wrath of NTR fans, Hollywood Critics Association issues a clarification

Both NTR and Ram Charan are massive stars in the south. Thanks to Rajamouli's RRR, they have now become popular on a global arena. Ram Charan, in particular, is making heads turn and he stole the limelight at the recently concluded HCA Awards in the US. But this has not gone well with the fans of NTR and they have created havoc.

A section of the NTR fans feel that injustice was done to their favorite star NTR as Ram Charan was given the award by the Hollywood Critics Association. So, the angry fans started trolling HCA on social media. The tweets were so many that HCA was forced to issue a clarification. "He was originally shooting a movie which is why he couldn’t attend. His brother's passing happened afterwards and is why he stepped away from the movie. This is what his publicist told us." they posted on twitter.

Fan wars are nothing new in the south. The stars here have a massive following and their fans fight it out whenever their stars' films come out. Initially, the fan wars were physical but now things are happening on social media with Facebook and mostly Twitter being the platforms. There are a few who have stooped so low that they are putting their own star heroes in an embarassment.

NTR did not go to the US as his brother passed away. Since Ram Charan was alone, he hogged all the limelight and the US media too had to give him attention. But this has not gone well with NTR fans who took things to another level that has even shocked the HCA. Even after the likes of Ram Charan and NTR asking their fans to take things easy, these fan fans do not stop and stoop to a low every single time.
