From web-slinger to treasure hunter, Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland seems to have a taste for adventure and action, when it comes to films. The actor recently starred in the adventure film, Uncharted and seems to have confused his fellow actor and girlfriend Zendaya when he tried to explain the film to her.

In an interview with Seth Meyers recently, Holland said that he had tried to ‘pitch’ the film to Zendaya on sets when they were working on Spider-Man: No Way Home. While explaining the film’s story, the actor said he started explaining some high-octane action sequences in the film to Zendaya, in particular a scene that involved him getting hit by a car and out of a plane. On hearing it, the actress had interrupted Holland’s narration and had remarked “What on Earth is this movie about?”

Holland also opened up about what drew him to accept the role in Uncharted, saying that he has been a longtime admirer of Indiana Jones and was excited at the prospect of being able to do a lot of the stunts himself. He said that he ‘broke’ himself while trying to do so as well, saying that in the end, he had to say no at times when he got too excited, doing multiple takes of the same stunt.

In a conversation with Variety, the actor also said that there were times when he left limping, while performing some stunts, although, he admitted that they came out well in the film and that made him proud.

The action-adventure film is based on the video game series of the same name and is directed by Ruben Fleischer. The film also features Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas.
