United Kingdom of Kerala, starring Ranjith Sajeev of Golam fame in the lead role, has been postponed again. This is the second time the film has been postponed. The upcoming Malayalam film was initially slated to hit theatres on April 17 but was postponed to May 23, 2025. Now, the makers have revealed the new release date to be June 20, 2025. United Kingdom of Kerala gets new release date

United Kingdom of Kerala, which is touted to be a family-youth entertainer, will be released in theatres on June 20, the makers have announced. Technical issues are said to be the reason behind the postponement. If the film had kept its earlier release date of May 23, it would have released along with Dhyan Sreenivasan's Detective Ujjwalan and Tovino Thomas' Narivetta.

The makers of United Kingdom of Kerala or UKOK also released a new poster featuring the lead star. While asserting that the film will be all about love and laughter, the makers promised that UKOK will be a good cinematic experience.

United Kingdom of Kerala, written and directed by Arun Vaiga, stars Ranjith Sajeev in the lead role. Johny Antony, who has directed movies such as CID Moosa and Thoppil Joppan, also plays a key role in the film.

Manju Pillai, Indrans, Rekhachithram actor Manoj K Jayan, Sangeetha, Sarangi Shyam, and director Alphonse Puthren are also a part of the film cast. Sinoj P Ayyappan is the cinematographer in the film, which has music by Rajesh Murugesan, who is best known for his work in Premam.

Arun Vaiga had previously helmed Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan and Chembarathipoo. Ranjith Sajeev, on the other hand, is best known for his cop role in Samjad’s Golam. Ranjith will also be a part of the sequel, which the makers are planning, as per reports. Samjad’s next venture Half, touted to be about vampires, will also star Ranjith in the lead.
