Upcoming Hindi movies, web series 2023 releasing on OTT – Netflix, Prime Video, ZEE5 and others

Hindi content are getting recognised all over the world more than ever, especially, since OTT streamers have globally become a big deal. From action-thriller to crime dramas, Hindi movies and shows are getting appreciation from worldwide fans. 

2022 has been a year of some of the binge-worthy Hindi series and films across genres, while 2023 is gearing up to break last year’s records. From Jubilee starring Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ram Kapoor, Sidhant Gupta and Wamiqa Gabbi on Prime Video to the Oscar winner filmmaker Gunnet Monga's upcoming venture on teenage love named Gutar Gu on Amazon miniTV, the digital platforms and offering a watch-worthy list of content to binge online.

Jubilee (Prime Video)

The Vikramaditya Motwane-directed and created period drama series is a tale of the rise of the Bombay Film industry during the 1940s and 50s. Not only the glamour, glitz, fame and money but the show also displays the cruel reality and people's real faces behind the camera. Jubilee stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ram Kapoor, Sidhant Gupta and Wamiqa Gabbi in pivotal roles. The first instalment of the show was released on April 7 on Prime Video, while Jubilee part 2 is set to release on April 14.

Vikram Vedha (Jio Cinema)

The Pushkar–Gayathri-directed Hindi remake of their own Tamil action drama movie Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in a thrilling tale of truth and lie is all set to have its OTT release on Jio Cinema on May 8.

Bhediya (Jio Cinema)

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer horror comedy film is a tale of a common man, who gets infected by a wolf and later finds himself turned into one. After its good theatrical run in 2022, Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan's movie is slated to release on a digital platform on April 21.

Mrs. Undercover (ZEE5)

Radhika Apte stars in and as Mrs. Undercover, who finds herself in a huge dilemma after getting re-recruited as a special spy agent for a very important mission of nabbing a serial killer on loose. Stream the comedy-spy drama movie on ZEE5 on April 14.

Selfiee (Disney+ Hotstar)

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi's comedy-drama film revolves around an RTO officer, who becomes the enemy of his favourite superstar due to an unfortunate event. Selfiee is set to arrive on OTT after its theatrical run.

Neeyat

The Vidya Balan starrer adventurous crime-thriller revolves around a murder that takes place during a billionaire’s birthday getaway. Neeyat also ensembles a huge set of the cast including Neeraj Kabi, Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Meeta Vashisht, Shahana Goswami, Prajakta Koli, Amrita Puri and others.

Tiku Weds Sheru

Backed by Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika Films, the upcoming romantic drama, which stars Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is directed by Sai Kabir. Interestingly, the Bollywood actress-producer wished to make the film with the late iconic actor Irrfan Khan.
