Uri’s director Aditya Dhar all set to make a film on terrorist killings in Pakistan? Here’s what we know

After having ‘been there, done that’ as a screenwriter, Aditya Dhar took the leap of faith with his film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. Ironically enough, his leap of faith not just made his film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ a blockbuster at the box office, but also went onto catapult him in the league of big filmmakers. The said film also went onto win four National Film Awards! After the huge success of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, all the eyes were trained on Aditya Dhar’s next film.

As per a source based recent report in Pinkvilla, Aditya Dhar is now all set to make his next film. The said film is reportedly based on terrorist killings in Pakistan. The report also stated that, the film will be reportedly an action thriller and will be based on real events and that Aditya had researched on the subject very intensively and had got fascinated with the modus operandi of the said operation.

The said report also stated that, the very belief that it was Indian Intelligence Agencies was believed to be the backend behind the terrorist killings in Pakistan. The report also added that the said film will be going on the floors by around April 2024.

As for Aditya Dhar, he had got married to actress Yami Gautam in the year 2021. Yami Gautam had played an important role in the film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. Looking back, in an interview with India Today, Yami Gautam had described her marriage with Aditya Dhar as a blessing and that she feels really blessed. On the professional front, Yami Gautam was last seen in the Akshay Kumar film ‘OMG 2’. Besides Akshay Kumar and Yami Gautam, the film also starred the stellar actor Pankaj Tripathi. As for Yami Gautam’s performance in the film, she was seen in the role of a defence lawyer who was seen fighting a case against Pankaj Tripathi.
