Cannes Film Festival this year will be graced by several eminent celebrities across the globe. The list includes a bunch of Indian celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Manushi Chhillar, Esha Gupta, Guneet Monga, and Vijay Varma to name a few. And now, model actor Urvashi Rautela has confirmed that she will attend the event.

Urvashi Rautela gained prominence after winning the title of Miss Diva Universe 2015. Since then, there is no turning back in her career. She has been a part of Hindi films like Sanam Re (2016), Great Grand Masti (2016), Hate Story 4 (2018), and Pagalpanti (2019) to name a few.

And now, the beauty is all set to walk the red carpet in France. Here, she will be participating in a photocall launch for her upcoming film, a biopic on the Bollywood actress Parveen Babi.

Sharing her excitement about playing such an iconic role and representing India at Cannes, she went on to say, "Yes, you’ve heard right. I’ve officially signed and will be leading the Parveen Babi biopic as an actress. I’m truly grateful to Cannes Film Festival, as it's one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world and a significant career milestone."

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan will lead an Indian Delegation to Cannes International Film Festival this year, the Central Government informed earlier this month.

Dr. Murugan will be accompanied by filmmaker Guneet Monga of The Elephant Whisperers fame; Manushi Chillar, Indian actress, model, and the winner of the Miss World 2017; Esha Gupta - actress of the Indian Cinema and Kangabam Tomba - acclaimed Manipuri actor, whose restored film Ishanau, is being screened in Cannes Classic Section this year.

Also, actress Anushka Sharma’s presence was also confirmed by the French Embassy in India. Though the outfit details of the celebrities are not out yet, we are eagerly waiting for them to hit the red carpet.
