Urvashi Rautela's debut Tamil film, The Legend, to hit screens on July 28?

Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela is all set to make her Tamil debut with The Legend, opposite businessman Saravanan Arul, which incidentally, will mark his debut in films The film, which is touted as a pan-India film, is directed by JD- Jerry, and is said to be a sci-fi thriller. The latest we hear is that the film is all set to hit screens on July 28. However, an official word on the same is awaited. The Legend will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. 

The buzz is that Saravanan plays a scientist, who helps protects the poor in his hometown, when they face trouble from outsiders. Urvashi Rautela a microbiologist. The supporting cast the star cast includes Prabhu, Robo Shankar, Nassar, Vijayakumar, Kovai Sarala, Mayilsamy and Geethika Tiwary. Vivekh was supposed to play a crucial role in the film, but due to his demise, the role eventually went on Yogi Babu. Music for the film is by Harris Jayaraj. The theatrical release in Tamil Nadu will be handled by Madurai GN Anbuchezhian’s Gopuram Films.

Urvashi's upcoming films include Dil Hai Gray, which is a remake of the Tamil film, Thiruttu Payale 2. She has wrapped up the shoot for her portions. She is also set to make her Telugu debut with Black Rose, a Hindi-Telugu bilingual. In the meantime, she will make her debut in Hollywood where she will team up Michele Morrone. The film will be directed by Barbara Bialowas and produced by Netflix and Tomasz Mandes.

Urvashi's work in the Hindi film industry comprises films like Pagalpanti, Hate Story 4, Kaabil and Great Grand Masti. She made her acting debut with Singh Saab The Great as the leading lady opposite Sunny Deol. In the south, she made her debut with the Kannada film,Mr Airavata in which she teamed up with Darshan. She has also been part of music videos, Laal Dupatta with Mika Singh and Gal Bann Gayi with Vidyut Jammwal.
