Ustaad - Ramp Aadidham is a game show where Manoj Manchu is back in action as a host, making his OTT debut. The show, commissioned by ETV Win, Eenadu group’s OTT platform, is gearing up for a digital premiere on December 15. The first episode of the weekly show will be graced by Hi Nanna star Nani. A promo of the premiere episode was unveiled by the show-creators recently.
In the latest promo of Ustaad, Nani receives a grand welcome from the host Manoj Manchu and the former compliments his energy, that’s ultimately reflecting among audiences. There’s a special gesture from a Nani fan that the show creators have kept under wraps. Meanwhile, much like the popular scene in Animal, Nani and Manoj act as a father and a son, where the child needs to be put to sleep.
Nani even jokes that only a bottle of ‘beer’ can put Manoj to sleep. The host, on a hilarious note, asks if he can sleep between his mother and the father and Nani threatens to call Manoj’s mother immediately. While moving onto the show, Nani ultimately meets his beloved fan Sri Priya and says she’s more popular than him. How far can he go to help her bag Rs 50 lakh prize money?
The contestant is put through various challenges - a few quizzes, puzzles that have a connection with Nani’s career and the star also narrates a few of his popular dialogues from Dasara. One of the leading production houses in Telugu cinema - People Media Factory - is bankrolling the web original, which has a unique concept and aims to strike a chord with film buffs.
Manoj Manchu had last acted in the film Okkadu Migiladu and took a break from cinema for over 7 years. An official announcement about his upcoming feature films is expected to be out soon. He recently got married to Bhuma Mounika Reddy, daughter of popular politicians Bhuma Nagi Reddy and Shobha Nagi Reddy.
