Ustaad on OTT - Rana Daggubati meets his ‘wildest’ fan, reenacts Venkatesh’s iconic scene from Raja

Ustaad, marking actor Manchu Manoj’s debut in the OTT space, is growing in terms of popularity with every weekend. Produced by People Media Factory, the game show is a web original whose new episode arrives every Thursday on ETV Win, the streamer owned by the Eenadu group. After episodes with Nani and Siddu Jonnalagadda, the third episode arrives on December 28.

The game show’s third episode brings together Manchu Manoj and Rana Daggubati. While the superheroes in Hollywood are fictional, Baahubali’s Bhallaladeva is our original, Manoj gives a grand intro to Rana in the glimpse, while the latter enters the stage amidst huge cheer. The two have been friends for long in the industry and their bromance truly comes to the fore in the promo.

‘Don’t mistake him to be sophisticated guy just because he wore a suit,’ Rana jokes while Manoj soon talks about the fan mail that the former received. One of his fans apparently had proclaimed that he’s getting regularly caught by his wife while he’s drunk. “He must be your (Manoj’s) fan and not mine,” the Baahubali actor continues to take a playful dig at Manoj.

One of Rana’s fans even asks if the actor and his celebrity friend flirted with the same woman. Soon, the actor gets to meet the ‘wildest’ one among his fans, and also needs to help him win a prize money of Rs 50 lakh. Rana, as part of the challenge, needs to sort actresses in a list as per their age - the celebs include Ileana D’Cruz, Samyuktha Menon, Sai Pallavi, Kajal Aggarwal and Nayanthara.

By the end of the glimpse, Rana and Manoj reenact Venkatesh’s iconic climax scene from his hit Raja. If we’re to go by the glimpse, one can expect a thoroughly entertaining episode where both the celebs converse sans filters. Recently, Manoj has also announced that he’s expecting a child with his wife Bhuma Mounika.
