Uunchai poster: Amitabh Bachchan unveils first look, celebrates friendship day with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani

Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for a special film alongside Boman Irani and Anupam Kher. The film talks about friendship being the backbone of people. Big B shared the first poster of the movie to mark friendship day today.

The latest poster features the three actors trekking to the top of the Himalayas. The angry young man of Bollywood took to his official Instagram handle and shared Uunchai's first look with a special caption that reads, "Celebrate #FriendshipDay with the first visual of our upcoming #Rajshri film #Uunchai. Join me, @anupamkher and @boman_irani on a journey that celebrates friendship. A film by @rajshrifilms and #SoorajBarjatya, @uunchaithemovie will be in a theatre near you on 11.11.22 (sic)."

The tagline at the top of the teaser poster reads - Friendship was their only motivation.

Meanwhile, Boman also shared the poster with a special quote on Instagram that says, "Presenting our labour of love. #Uunchai! This journey with @amitabhbachchan and @anupampkher was all heart! Proud to be putting out our teaser poster on #FriendshipDay. (sic)."

Written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the anticipated project is backed by the ace filmmaker himself alongside Mahaveer Jain and Natasha Malpani Oswal under the banners named Rajshri Productions, Mahaveer Jain Films and Boundless Media. Meanwhile, the cinematography is done by Manoj Kumar Khatoi.

The upcoming family-drama flick also stars Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika and Nafisa Ali in key roles alongside Sheen Dass and Abhishek Singh Pathania as supporting characters. 

Uunchai is slated to release in theatres on November 11, 2022.
